Procurement as a Service (PAAS)
As Australia’s largest non-OEM provider of mining equipment and maintenance services, Emeco has built a highly capable, scalable and cost-efficient supply chain to support our operations. This integrated procurement capability underpins the performance, reliability and availability of our fleet across diverse mining environments.
We now extend these proven capabilities to clients through our Procurement as a Service (PaaS) model.

A Proven Model, Delivered at Scale
Emeco’s PaaS offering provides clients with access to our established supplier networks, commercial buying power, governance frameworks and operational expertise. Designed for mining operations, this service enables customers to optimise cost, improve supply certainty and reduce operational risk without investing in additional internal infrastructure.
For several large clients, Emeco currently manages end-to-end supply chain responsibilities across equipment, components and critical consumables. This includes embedded on-site personnel and structured reporting to ensure transparency, compliance and performance optimisation.

Distribution Centres: Perth, Mackay and Gunnedah
Maximising equipment availability is critical to safe and productive mining operations. Emeco’s national network of strategically located distribution centres hold inventory to support mobile mining fleets operating in demanding 24/7 environments.
These facilities hold a range of components, parts and critical spares to ensure rapid response and supply continuity across planned maintenance, unplanned breakdowns and major equipment rebuilds. By integrating procurement, logistics and inventory management, Emeco provides a streamlined supply chain solution that supports operational continuity and reduces downtime.

Delivering Measurable Value

Supporting Site Operations
Our distribution centres act as a central coordination point for the procurement and supply of parts & components. Through disciplined inventory planning and strong supplier relationships, our team can source, consolidate and stage parts required for maintenance events or major repairs before they are dispatched to site.
This approach provides several key operational benefits:
- Order consolidation – combining parts and components from multiple suppliers into a single coordinated delivery to site
- Staging for equipment repairs and rebuilds – ensuring all required parts are available and packaged together prior to mobilisation
- Improved maintenance planning – aligning parts availability with scheduled maintenance windows
- Reduced logistics complexity – minimising multiple deliveries and improving freight efficiency to remote operations
- Lower downtime risk – ensuring critical parts are ready when equipment is taken offline for repair
